Job Overview
Weare seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant with experience in multi-company bookkeeping to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage financial operations across multiple business entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective cash management. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work independently while managing the financials for multiple organizations simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage financial records for multiple companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance for each entity.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for each company.
- Handle multi-company inter-company transactions and reconciliations.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting for individual entities.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and prepare documentation for tax filings across various jurisdictions.
- Monitor and manage cash flow across companies, ensuring optimal financial health for each entity.
- Collaborate with external auditors or tax advisors as needed.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory changes relevant to multi-company operations.
- Implement and maintain accounting systems and processes tailored to manage the complexity of multiple entities.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in bookkeeping or accounting, with a focus on managing multiple entities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, etc.) and Excel.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
